The Bijun Origin Story

Bijun hyaluronic acid tablets were created to solve the skin problems of pharmacist Takayuki Mori's wife.

Takayuki Mori, the pharmacist behind the Bijun hyaluronic acid supplement tablets.

I wanted to create an all-natural treatment to counteract the effects of aging that were causing my wife so much anxiety.

As a pharmacist and husband, I understood the importance of developing a supplement that was not only effective but safe to consume on a long-term basis.

Based on my expertise and with the support of a team of top pharmacists and cosmetologists, Bijun was created without compromise.

The result was a beautifying supplement that I could give with confidence to the love of my life.

1. My Wife's Skin Problems

In 2003, my wife complained that she felt as though her skin had been deteriorating for some time. Taking a closer look, I confirmed that although she was still only in her early 30s, her cheeks and eyes had begun to sag a little.

I examined her skin using a machine that measures skin age. To our surprise, it determined her to be in her 40s. This made her very depressed. She began trying various serums and supplements, but they had no effect.

Seeing this, as a pharmacist, I decided to work seriously to find a solution to my wife's problem. This was the beginning of the development of Bijun.

2. Why Our Skin Sags as We Age

According to research conducted by major cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturers, a significant cause of aging symptoms is our skin dehydrating. This dryness leads to symptoms of aging, including loss of skin elasticity, and results in sagging.

3. Hyaluronic Acid & Skin Moisture Retention

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in human skin that is responsible for moisture retention. Just 1 gram of hyaluronic acid enables the retention of up to 6 liters of water!

The ability of human skin to retain moisture is determined by the amount of hyaluronic acid in the dermis located inside the skin. Hence, a decrease in hyaluronic acid reduces the moisture retention rate, leading to dry skin.

This is especially true after 40 when the amount of hyaluronic acid decreases drastically. The aging process seems to accelerate even though we may still feel young at heart.

The amount of hyaluronic acid is highest in babies and
gradually declines as we age.

4. Artificial vs. Natural Hyaluronic Acid

If you search for "hyaluronic acid supplements" on Amazon, you will find hundreds of products. With so many options, you may be wondering which one will be best for you.

It is not enough for a supplement to simply contain hyaluronic acid. What matters is the quality and whether the body can use it.

There are two types of hyaluronic acid.

Artificial Hyaluronic Acid

This is the most commonly used type. It is manufactured in large quantities at a low cost. However, this process can introduce microbial fungi, which is unsafe. Unfortunately, most of the cheap hyaluronic acid supplements are produced in this way.

Natural Hyaluronic Acid

This can be found in chicken crests and bones. However, if the extraction process uses high temperatures or chemicals, the moisturizing properties will be lost.

For this reason, Bijun uses natural hyaluronic acid extracted from chicken parts using enzymes to ensure the hydrating effects are retained.

5. Hyaluronic Acid Absorption Factors

Studies in Japan have shown data that hyaluronic acid is not absorbed when taken alone.

For this reason, Bijun uses ECM-E, a complex of hyaluronic acid and other mucopolysaccharides such as collagen and chondroitin sulfate. This results in maximal absorption of hyaluronic acid.

This ingredient's safety and effectiveness have been confirmed by its use in Japan for over 30 years, along with extensive documentation published in scientific papers.

6. Oral vs. Topical Application

You will find that many cosmetics and serums contain hyaluronic acid. However, applying hyaluronic acid to the skin only provides limited results. This is because it is not absorbed by the deeper layers of skin.

Many scientific studies have found that taking hyaluronic acid supplements orally results in far superior absorption.

7. Our Commitment to Purity

Many supplements contain various additives such as preservatives, coloring, flavoring, and even substances to mask the ingredients' aroma.

While these may make the supplements slightly more pleasant to consume in the short term, they add nothing to their effectiveness. Furthermore, when taken over the long-term, they may cause harm.

Safety, quality, and effectiveness are our top priorities. We refuse to compromise on the well-being of our customers. Thus, we spent a long time developing Bijun and have a stringent production process.

This has resulted in a higher unit cost, but the results enjoyed by our customers speak for themselves.
